This is not a critique, just my personal rant... how the F is this rated same as cell shaded images of big butted girls on this site is beyond me.
Unfortunately I can't press a 6 or 7 to show what you do is much more appreciated, so have a 5.

Hah!! Aww thanks so much.
I would be lying if I said I didn't contribute to the butt pile in the art portal but I totally get what you mean. We kind of see nothing butt (< 2016 pun of all time).
Glad you like it!! <3 <3
I know this is supposed to be a review and I try not to fangirl too much but wow, this is just way too cool. Looks so... expensive, if you know what I mean? *applause*
Not quite sure about the "expensive" really, but thanks for the kind words regardless.
This is not a review, this is a simple public statement that I want this on my wall. It's gorgeous.
thanks, glad to hear that!
I'd love to walk around this place and if you came up with it all by yourself, I bow to you sir!
The only two problems I had with it were that one, all the points of interest are a bit empty, either if you go with rule of thirds or ..golden rule, I think it's called? I'd love to see either the castle, flowers or (best, imo) the street name sign in focus and in those points.
And two, the places where the direct sunlight hits should be much brighter, at least it looks like an extremely sunny day according to the sky and lens flare? Idk, I may be wrong but the flare doesn't happen if the sun is not shining directly into camera?
Otherwise man, you did an amazing job in 7 hours. Wow.
Thanks for the response! And yep this born of one part inspiration and two parts whimsy, for most of my life I've built scenes like these in my head it just hasn't been until recently that I've had the skill to convey those scenes in a coherent way. Either way, I'm thankful for the praise.
I'm glad that you have an eye for detail, I felt like I needed to add something to kinda bring the piece together, as for the rule of thirds goes... I've never actually had a proper education in art so the terms are a little lost on me but I think I know what you're getting at. And yeah the street sign is going to be the main bit, I'm thinking of playing up the flora around that area, maybe some more flowers and critters maybe a broken wagon wheel or some jazz like that.
Secondly, yes absolutely, that one of those things that I didn't really realize until you pointed it out to me, I guess I got so caught up in the picture as a whole that I neglected some of the more important bits. Lastly for the lens flare... idunno, I feel like you can get it if you get a little bit of the sun or if it's just barely behind something. Maybe I'm wrong, but I kinda just added it on a whim and loved it so it stuck.
(and if I'm being honest it was closer to seven and a half hours)
And again thank you for the well thought out response!
(and the complements!)
The whole painting is beautiful but next time, tone the signature down. It's too distracting because of the size and colour, which doesn't appear anywhere else in the image plus it's red on a flat dark surface. Otherwise, sweet job!
Honestly some of the best advise I have received that pertained to my art. so thank you very much!
I am used to using a bright red on my traditional paintings to get it to show up, but I had never really thought about it before on these pieces.
Also I'm glad you liked it!
I thought it was a word play on candy man... nevertheless, I am amazed how simple your works look but how much knowledge you are able to cram into them on a daily basis. Amazing job!
Thank you so much, Kaolinn!
5, because of the mood you created with colours. Also, your author's note would be a much better title:)
I don't really get your average mark here. Apparetly it really comes down to taste but I really really like your pieces. They are so original. I see mean, you say mean in the description. You know how to use negative space and although it's a busy piece it's still simple and cool to look at.
I don't get the 3.something average, I really don't.
You don't get low ratings because you are too awesome and too kind to understand such situations. Thank you very much for such warm and encouraging rant/prise! You rock!
It's beauty brought tears to my eyes...
This pic is way too cool for a website, let's put it on a t-shirt instead.
I think your work until now is awesome in design, original and totally underrated. Awesome job, man.
Oh you are too kind! Thanks! I have a few pieces well suited for t-shirts. I may upload that stuff soon.
I'll keep on swinging!
